Step-by-Step Integration Guide

Follow these instructions to connect EmailVerify.io with Zapier and create your first automated workflow (Zap).

Gmail Integration

Use Case: Automatically verify email addresses of new contacts who email you.

Step 1: Create a New Zap

From your Zapier dashboard, click Create Zap and rename it to something descriptive, e.g., “Verify new Gmail contacts.”

Step 2: Configure the Trigger

The trigger is the event that starts your automation.

• In the Trigger section, search for and select the app where your emails come from (e.g., Gmail).

• Choose the specific trigger event, such as: Gmail: "New Email"

• Follow Zapier's prompts to connect your account (if not already connected) and configure the trigger settings.

Step 3: Add EmailVerify.io as the Action

The action is what Zapier does after the trigger event.

• Click Add Step, select Action, and pick EmailVerify.io from the list.

• Map the Data Fields: In the Email field, select the sender’s email address from the Gmail trigger (the “From” address of the email).

• Publish Your Zap: Once the test runs successfully, turn your Zap on.
