Integration with HubSpot

The EmailVerify.io integration with HubSpot allows users to validate email addresses directly within HubSpot.  It verifies emails in real time or in bulk, helping maintain clean contact lists, reduce bounce rates, and improve deliverability for marketing campaigns and sales outreach.

This ensures that your communications reach the intended audience and that analytics remain accurate.

Prerequisites

Before setting up the integration, make sure you have:

• An active EmailVerify.io account with available credits.
• An active HubSpot account (CRM, Marketing Hub, or both).
• Admin access in HubSpot to authorize integrations.

Step-by-Step Setup

Follow these steps to set up HubSpot verification and maintain clean and accurate contact lists.

Step 1: Log in to EmailVerify.io

Visit https://app.emailverify.io/users/sign_in and log in using your EmailVerify.io credentials. After signing in, open the Integrations section from your dashboard.

Step 2: Open HubSpot Integration

Within the Integrations page, find HubSpot in the list of available integrations. Click on it to initiate the connection process.

Step 3: Initiate the Connection

A connection window will appear, prompting you to proceed. Click connect to continue. You will be redirected to HubSpot’s authentication page.

Step 4: Sign in to HubSpot

On the HubSpot login screen, enter your HubSpot account credentials and proceed with sign-in. 

Step 5: Authorize Account Access

If multiple HubSpot accounts are associated with your login, select the account you want to connect. Review the requested permissions and confirm to grant EmailVerify.io access to the selected HubSpot account.

Step 6: Load Your HubSpot Contact Lists

After successful authorization, your available HubSpot contact lists will be displayed within the HubSpot integration panel in EmailVerify.io.

Optional: Enable Auto-Validation for New Contacts

After connecting your HubSpot account, you can enable Auto-Validation within the integration settings.

Turn the Auto-Validation toggle ON to automatically verify any new contact added to HubSpot through connected integrations.

Note: Contacts must be added individually for Auto-Validation to trigger.

Step 7: Select Lists for Verification

Choose one or more contact lists you want to validate. Click Start Verification to begin processing. Once verification is complete, results are automatically synchronized back to HubSpot.

Step 8: Track Verification Status

You will be redirected to the Bulk Verification page. There, you can monitor the progress of each selected list in real time.

Step 9: Review and Download Results

When processing is complete:

• You will receive an email notification.
• The Download option will become available.

Each verified contact in HubSpot is automatically updated with the following custom fields:

• EV_Status: Overall verification outcome
• EV_SubStatus: Detailed validation classification
• EV_Validation_Timestamp: Time of verification

These fields allow you to filter, segment, and manage contacts based on verification status directly within HubSpot.

Troubleshooting & Tips

If you encounter issues during setup or verification, review the following:

• If your HubSpot lists do not appear, ensure you authorized the correct HubSpot account during the connection process.
• Test verification on a small sample of contacts before running large lists.
• Confirm your EmailVerify.io account has sufficient credits for bulk verification.
• If errors occur during verification, try reconnecting HubSpot through the Integrations page.
