The EmailVerify.io integration with Mailchimp allows users to validate email addresses directly within their Mailchimp account. It supports real-time verification and allows checking lists imported individually, helping you maintain accurate subscriber lists, reduce bounce rates, and improve the deliverability of your campaigns.

This ensures your marketing emails reach real subscribers while keeping your reporting and engagement metrics reliable.

Prerequisites

Before setting up the integration, make sure you have:

• An active EmailVerify.io account with available credits.
• An active Mailchimp account.
• Mailchimp login credentials with access to the audiences you want to verify.

Step-by-Step Setup

Follow these steps to connect Mailchimp with EmailVerify.io and validate your subscriber lists efficiently:

Step 1: Log in to EmailVerify.io

Visit https://app.emailverify.io/users/sign_in and sign in with your EmailVerify.io credentials. After signing in, open the Integrations section from your dashboard.

Step 2: Open Mailchimp Integration

From the integrations list, select Mailchimp. Click Connect to initiate the connection with your Mailchimp account.

Step 3: Sign in to Mailchimp

Enter your Mailchimp email and password on the login screen. Complete the sign-in process to proceed with authorization.

Step 4: Grant Access

Mailchimp will request permission for EmailVerify.io to access your account. Click Allow to authorize. Once connected, your Mailchimp audiences will appear automatically in the EmailVerify.io integration panel.

Step 5: Select Audiences to Verify

Pick one or more audiences you want to validate. Click Validate List to begin.

Note: Only contacts with a “subscribed” status are verified. Contacts marked as unsubscribed, cleaned, or pending are skipped.

Step 6: Monitor Verification Progress

You will be taken to the Bulk Verification page, where you can track the real-time progress of each selected audience.

Step 7: Review and Export Results

Once verification is complete:

• You will receive an email notification.
• The Download option becomes available if you need to export results.

Verified contacts in Mailchimp are automatically tagged with:

• EV_Status: Overall verification result
• EV_SubStatus: Detailed classification
• EV_Validation_Timestamp: Verification timestamp

These tags help you filter, segment, and manage your audience efficiently.

Enable Auto-Validation

Auto-validation ensures that new contacts added individually to your Mailchimp audience are verified automatically.

This helps prevent invalid or risky email addresses from entering your list and protects your sender reputation over time.

How to Enable Auto-Validation

1. Log in to your EmailVerify.io account.
2. Navigate to Integrations and open the Mailchimp integration.
3. Locate the connected audience(s).
4. Toggle Auto-Validation ON for the audience you want to monitor.

Once enabled, EmailVerify.io will automatically validate newly added contacts (added one by one) and apply verification tags accordingly.

Troubleshooting and Tips

If you experience issues with the Mailchimp integration, review the following:

• Ensure your Mailchimp credentials are correct and the account has appropriate access permissions.
• Confirm that your EmailVerify.io account has sufficient verification credits available.
• Verify that the selected audience contains contacts with a “subscribed” status.
• Reconnect the Mailchimp integration if audiences do not appear or authorization fails.
• Remember that auto-validation applies only to individually added contacts, not bulk imports.
