The EmailVerify.io integration with ActiveCampaign enables users to check email addresses directly within their ActiveCampaign account. It performs real-time or bulk verification, helping you keep subscriber lists accurate, minimize bounce rates, and boost email deliverability.

This ensures your campaigns reach the right audience while keeping your engagement data trustworthy.

Prerequisites

Before setting up the integration, make sure you have:

An active EmailVerify.io account with available credits.
An active ActiveCampaign account.
Access to your ActiveCampaign API key and API URL.

Step-by-Step Setup

Follow these steps to connect ActiveCampaign with EmailVerify.io and keep your subscriber lists accurate:

Visit https://app.emailverify.io/users/sign_in and sign in using your EmailVerify.io credentials. Once logged in, open the integrations section from your dashboard.

Step 2: Open ActiveCampaign Integration

From the list of integrations, select ActiveCampaign. A prompt will appear requesting your API key and API URL. These credentials allow EmailVerify.io to access your ActiveCampaign account securely.

Step 3: Locate Your API Credentials

In your ActiveCampaign account, navigate to Settings > Developer to retrieve your credentials. Copy these values to the EmailVerify.io prompt to proceed.

After entering your credentials, click Connect to link your ActiveCampaign account with EmailVerify.io. After a successful connection, your ActiveCampaign lists load automatically in the integration panel.

Select one or more lists that you want to validate. Click Validate List to begin the process.

Note: Only contacts with subscribed status will be verified. Contacts marked as unsubscribed, bounced, or unconfirmed are skipped.

Step 6: Monitor Verification Progress

You will be directed to the Bulk Verification page, where the progress of each selected list is displayed in real time. You can check which lists are being processed and track the verification status.

After verification is complete:

You will receive a notification email.
The Download option becomes available for exporting results if needed.

Verified contacts in ActiveCampaign are automatically updated with three custom fields:

EV_Status: Overall verification outcome
EV_SubStatus: Detailed validation classification
EV_Validation_Timestamp: Time of verification

These fields let you filter, segment, and manage contacts effectively in ActiveCampaign.

If you encounter issues during setup or verification, review the following:

Ensure your ActiveCampaign credentials are correct and that the account is active.
Verify that your API key and URL correspond to the account you want to connect.
Test verification on a small sample of contacts before processing large lists.
Confirm your EmailVerify.io account has sufficient credits for bulk verification.
If lists do not appear or verification fails, try reconnecting your ActiveCampaign account through the Integrations page.
