Integration with Constant Contact

The EmailVerify.io integration with Constant Contact allows you to validate your subscriber lists directly from your Constant Contact account.

Using this integration, you can:

• Import eligible contacts from Constant Contact.
• Verify email addresses in bulk using EmailVerify.io.
• Automatically sync verification results back to Constant Contact.
• Maintain list hygiene without deleting contact records.

This integration helps reduce bounce rates, protect your sender reputation, and keep contact data accurate in Constant Contact.

Prerequisites

Before setting up the integration, ensure you have:

• An active Constant Contact account
• An active EmailVerify.io account (free or paid)
• Available verification credits in EmailVerify.io (for bulk validation)

Important:

• Only contacts with “Subscribed” or “Temporary hold” status will be imported.
• Contacts marked as “Unsubscribed” are excluded from validation.

Step-by-Step Integration Setup

Complete the steps below to authorize the integration and start verifying your lists.

Step 1: Sign In to EmailVerify.io

1. Go to https://app.emailverify.io/users/sign_in.
2. Log in to your EmailVerify.io account.
3. Navigate to the Integrations section from the dashboard.

Step 2: Open the Constant Contact Integration

1. On the Integrations page, locate Constant Contact in the list.
2. Click Connect.
3. A connection pop-up will appear.
4. You will be redirected to the Constant Contact authorization page.

Step 3: Sign In to Constant Contact

Enter your Constant Contact credentials and sign in to your account.

Step 4: Grant Access

After signing in, you will be prompted to authorize access.

1. Click Allow Access.
2. This grants EmailVerify.io permission to import contacts and export validation results.

The connection uses OAuth2 authorization. Login credentials are not stored by EmailVerify.io.

Step 5: View Available Lists

Once authorization is complete, your Constant Contact lists will appear inside the EmailVerify.io integration panel.

Step 6: Choose Lists to Validate

1. Select one or more lists.
2. Click the validation list button to start the process.

The selected lists will be submitted for bulk verification.

Note: Validation results are automatically synced back to Constant Contact once processing is complete.

Step 7: Monitor Verification Progress

Once validation begins, you will be redirected to the Bulk Verification page, where your selected lists are processed. The time required depends on the number of contacts in the list.

Step 8: Access and Sync Results

When validation is complete, you will receive an email notification, and the Download button will become available. The results are automatically exported back to Constant Contact.

Three custom fields are added to each verified contact:

1. EV_Status
2. EV_SubStatus
3. EV_Validation_Timestamp

These fields can be used for segmentation and contact management inside Constant Contact.

Troubleshooting & Tips

If you encounter issues during setup or verification, review the following:

• If your Constant Contact lists do not appear, ensure you authorized the correct account during the connection process.
• Test verification on a small sample of contacts before running large lists.
• Confirm your EmailVerify.io account has sufficient credits for bulk verification.
• If errors occur during verification, try reconnecting Constant Contact through the Integrations page.
